It's that magical time of the year! Fort Myers Roller Derby is recruiting, and we want YOU!

Our league is made up of amazing skaters who compete throughout the year in this high speed, highly competitive sport. But they didn't all start out that way! We are inviting our newest potential skaters to join us for our next OFF SKATES tryout. Don't worry if you aren't a top athlete- this tryout will allow us to assess your positive attitude, ability to work in a team environment, and willingness to work hard!

The tryout will take place on January 27th from 7:30-8:30pm at the Fort Myers Skatium- please arrive by 7:15pm. Bring lots of water and come ready to work out in tennis shoes and athletic clothing. This tryout is open to all individuals 18 and up who identify as female.

The Fort Myers Roller Derby Palm City Punishers will be taking on Panhandle United Roller Derby on Saturday October 12th, 2019. Expect to see hard hits, fancy footwork, and fast paced jams. This is guaranteed to be the best fun night out for all ages and is family friendly. The game will be at Ft Myers Skatium located at 2250 Broadway in Downtown Fort Myers. Doors open at 5:30pm. Admission is free, but in lieu of an entry fee, due to current events in the Bahamas caused by Hurricane Dorian, Fort Myers Roller Derby would like to kindly ask that you bring a cash donation for the Hurricane Relief Effort. We are partnering with Stokes Marine who will make sure that your money is put to the best possible use!

We appreciate any help you can provide to our Bahamian neighbors.

This will be a unique bout of co-ed roller derby! Team Zebra is made up of refs from all over Florida who love to take off their stripes and play some derby. The Antique Roll Show features skaters who are all over 40.
