Interested in being a part of our league, but not a skater? We are ALWAYS recruiting/training NSO's (non-skating officials), Referees and Volunteers. Send us an email (same as above) and let us know what interests you!

Location: Fort Myers Skatium, 2250 Broadway, Fort Myers

Requirements for League Skaters:

• You must identify as female and be 18 years of age or older. 

• You can be in skates as soon as your very first practice! We have gear available to get you started. YOU WILL NEED TO BRING YOUR OWN MOUTH GUARD – we don’t share those, because… gross.

• Commitment: be prepared to practice 1-2 times a week, typically for 2 hours at a time, usually in the evening (schedule changes based on practice facility availability)

• Fees: There is a $10 deposit required for all new incoming skaters for their first practice.

If you decide to join our league (and we hope you do!), you will be required to get the following gear:

• Helmet (derby specific, not bicycle)

• Wrist Guards

• Knee Pads

• Elbow Pads

• Mouth Guard (although you should already have this)

• Skates – Please work with the training committee to find recommendations that fit your price range – we love to talk about gear!
